Blue Curlew

Hello, I’m Jo Elliott, an artist living in Devon.

I am largely self taught but I gained an HNC in illustration at North Devon College when I was in my late thirties. I have drawn and painted animals since I was old enough to hold a pencil and they are, and always will be, my inspiration and absolute passion. I like using pastels, acrylics, watercolour with pen and ink and, my favourite, gouache.

I have a mission to paint bold, beautiful and bright paintings to inject some colour into the world!
